About:

Mrozek’s play is about the collapse of civilization, in which he ridicules stereotypical thinking, opposing the complexity of human experience to simplistic reasoning and absolutist solutions. For this particular design, I based my research on arte povera, circus and circus aesthetics. Utilizing raw materials and the playfulness of the sculptures by Robert Morris, I created a series of ramps and platforms in conjunction with the rigged forest made up of brooms to bring this set to life.
