About:
For the design of Peony Pavilion, I focused on basic notions of Feng Shui, such as cardinal orientation and its relation to the four elements. Therefore, I used specific areas of energy and prosperity based on the coordinates of the stage. With this in mind, I organized the set elements based on size, material and which element each represented: pool/water, swing/air, seating/earth and shaped rocks/fire.
