The Last Days of the Old Wild Boy, Written and Directed by Rinde Eckert at the Center for the ArtsTheater, Wesleyan University, 2012

About:

The object-performer relationship was explored in the original theater work The Last Days of The Old Wild Boy, created and directed by Rinde Eckert. The set consisted of 156 unfinished wooden tables. Performers manipulated these tables to construct vertical towers, platforms, and a city destroyed by the war. These movable objects also became an integral component of the production’s soundscape.
